Titan are currently recruiting for a Workshop Engineer to work with one of their prestigious clients based in the Kidderminster area.
The duties for the Workshop Engineer will be:
Disassembling and assembling body mounted equipment.
Diagnosis of faults on chassis mounted equipment.
Carrying out body refurbishment repairs on Refuse Collection vehicles to a high standard.
Mig welding repairs.
Ensuring jobs are completed to company standards and instructions.
Working at customers and company premises as required.
Completing all relevant paperwork and or documentation relating to daily work.
Whilst fulfilling the role the successful candidate will be expected to maintain good housekeeping practices and demonstrate responsibility for their personal health and safety and those around them, including risk assessing their own work to ensure safe working practices are being carried out and using Personal Protective Equipment as and when appropriate.
The ideal Workshop Engineer will be professional and self-motivated with a good customer service ethos and the ability to solve problems alongside a desire to develop and learn. Communication skills are vital for this role, both in dealing with external and internal customers. The ideal candidate must be confident & flexible enough to work alone and as part of a team. Good organisational skills, time management and administration skills are also vital.
