You will be joining an expanding civil & structural team, becoming a member of an international firm employing over four hundred experts.
The Role: The investigation of a range of civil and structural engineering failures, typically affecting bridges, development infrastructure, civil structures, temporary works and buildings. Assignments start with a site visit and the review of the design, construction methodology, site conditions and materials used. If required, you will request component/ material testing, this would be carried out in their state-of-the-art laboratory by specialist materials engineers or metallurgists. Using the information you have gathered you will unravel the cause of the failure, culminating in a report identifying the root cause of the problem and why it occurred.
