This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a market leader in the engineering sector, ensuring the quality and precision of mechanical components using advanced measurement tools, including CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).Salary: Circa £41,000 per annumLocation: Near Camberley, SurreyPosition: PermanentKey Responsibilities: * CMM Operation: Use a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to carry out precise measurements of mechanical components and assemblies, ensuring they meet quality standards and technical specifications. * Quality Assurance: Inspect and verify the quality of products throughout the manufacturing process, identifying any defects or non-conformities and ensuring corrective actions are taken. * Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and measurement reports, ensuring compliance with internal and external quality standards. * Support Manufacturing Teams: Work closely with the production team to identify quality issues, providing feedback and recommendations for improvements to ensure continuous quality control. * Inspection of Mechanical Components: Inspect a wide range of mechanical components using a variety of measuring tools and techniques, including manual gauges and CMM. * Continuous Improvement: Assist in the development and improvement of quality control processes and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained across all projects.The Ideal Candidate:We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with experience in mechanical quality inspection, particularly in the use of CMM equipment.
