Connect2SocialWork are looking for a Registered Manager to take the reins at a 10 bed children's home located in Birmingham. The home provides care for young people, 14-18 years old, with a range of disabilities including Down's Syndrome, autism, and behavioural problems.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. QCF Level 3 in Children and Families
2. Working towards or willingness to work towards QCF Level 5
3. Management qualification
4. Relevant experience working in an Ofsted regulated residential home for children/young people
5. Minimum of 2 years in post as senior worker/deputy manager, involving all aspects of staff management and supervision and operational practice
6. Social work/childcare legislation including child protection and safer care
7. Current policy trends in disability, community care and childcare
8. Enhanced DBS
WORKING HOURS:
37 hours per week. This is an interim role for 6 months with the potential to be ongoing.
PAY RATE:
Up to £450 per day DOE (umbrella rate).
