Programming & Partnerships Officer - Newcastle Summary INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY PLEASE Are you full of creative ideas about how we can connect people to nature? We're looking for two Programming and Partnerships Officers to join our North East Urban Team, to support the planning, delivery and evaluation of the North East in Blossom programme. You’ll engage with internal colleagues as well as external partners, to help us achieve our ambitions. This role would suit someone who loves to connect with people and would be happy to travel within the region to support teams both on and off property. You’ll work 22.5 hours per week on a fixed term basis for 3 months from March until June. Due to the nature of the Blossom programme, there will be a requirement to work during weekends and occasional evenings. The North East Blossom programme is being delivered at National Trust properties including Gibside, Crook Hall Gardens, Washington Old Hall, Ormesby Hall and Seaton Delaval Hall, as well as beyond National Trust boundaries in Gateshead, Newcastle, Durham City and Middlesbrough. You'll be part of a team that covers the North East portfolio and your contractual location will be Holy Jesus Hospital. There will be a requirement to travel to other sites, as and when required. Your travel expenses would be reimbursed in-line with National Trust policies. What you'll be doing You’ll play a key role in supporting the planning and delivery of a programme of Blossom events across the North East, with collaboration at its core. In practice, this means working with colleagues and external partners, planning activities which inspire people to notice and connect with nature. You’ll be instrumental in delivering these activities and ensuring everyone feels welcome. You’ll support the promotion of the programme through our social channels by capturing visuals of the various activities, and you’ll be fundamental in evaluating the programme through gathering participant and partner feedback and other data, to help shape future Blossom programmes.
