The School and Role
This large and well-established Secondary Academy based in Maghull, Merseyside, is looking to appoint a passionate and driven English Teacher to teach KS3 - KS4 levels and work as part of an established team. This is a full-time role, starting immediately and is ongoing until the end of the academic year in July 2025. The successful candidate must have experience of teaching English up to KS4. The school is the largest Catholic secondary school in the Sefton area and was marked as 'Good' in all areas following their most recent Ofsted inspection in May 2022.
Requirements
The desired English Teacher will have:
1. Hold QTS in the UK
2. Experience of working with KS3 and KS4 levels
3. Confidence in teaching the current curriculum
4. Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
