Join this culinary team at a dynamic and prestigious dining establishment! We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chef de Partie to help lead kitchen operations. The restaurant is committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences by using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and showcasing innovative, seasonal menus.
Chef de Partie Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and present high-quality dishes within company specifications
* Assist in the development and planning of menus, including future food trends and be passionate about developing new styles of service and concepts
* Manage and train any Demi-Chef de Parties or Commis working with you, helping them develop their skills
* Ensure the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines
* Maintain a detailed knowledge of the full menu and be able to explain dish descriptions
* Ensure mise en place is completed in your section and ready for service
* Monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared
* Communicate any issues immediately to the Sous Chef or Head Chef
* Assist in positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
Chef de Partie Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a fast-paced kitchen environment
* Strong culinary skills with great attention to detail
* A deep understanding of ingredients and produce
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Capable of delegating tasks and leading a small team
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards
* Qualified with a degree from a culinary school or similar culinary certificate
