Job Description
(m.e) is seeking a highly organised and proactive Fulfilment Coordinator to oversee all aspects of inventory management, product provisioning, and order fulfilment. This role involves managing the end-to-end logistics process, from inventory allocation to packaging and shipping, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to customers.
Key responsibilities include:
* managing m.e's unique provisioning system, a technical process in which products are configured before shipment to meet customer specifications.
* Reporting to and working closely with the Supply Chain Manager, the successful candidate will collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth operations.
* As part of a dynamic start-up, this role requires hands-on involvement in day-to-day activities, including packaging, shipping, and other related tasks, while continuously optimising operational procedures to support the company's growth.
Principal Tasks and Responsibilities
* Manage Inventory Allocation and Distribution : Oversee inventory levels and allocate resources effectively to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time. Collaborate with the sales team to manage inventory needs based on customer demand.
* Provisioning System Management : Manage and execute the m.e provisioning system, configuring products before shipment. This technical process ensures all products are prepared to meet customer specifications.
* Packaging and Posting : Actively participate in and supervise packaging and shipping activities to ensure that products are safely packed and transferred to couriers for timely delivery.
* Reading Distribution Office Management : Maintain and manage the inventory and distribution activities at the Reading Office to support efficient operations.
* Operational Efficiency : Develop and refine operational procedures and processes to enhance m.e's logistics and fulfilment functions.
* Cost Management : Take responsibility for managing the costs associated with the fulfilment process, identifying opportunities for cost savings, and developing procedures to minimise unnecessary expenses.
* Monitor and Report Logistics OKRs : Track and report on the performance of the Logistics Department against its objectives and key results (OKRs), ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
