As Visitor Experience Officer, your main focus will be on providing a great service for visitors. With the visitor experience team, you’ll be welcoming people and inspiring them to really get to know Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal. This might include helping make our places accessible for everyone, finding ways of bringing the place, and its stories, to life. You’ll be supporting our events and activities, and you might be supervising volunteers and organising rotas. You’re likely to be checking standards of presentation on site, helping to write signage, as well as looking after some of our core interpretation spaces.As a member of the Duty Management team at both Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal as well as Brimham Rocks, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day opening, working closely with the staff and volunteer team to ensure our visitors have an enjoyable and safe experience.This is a fast-paced role and requires self-management and organising of resources.The National Trust has the motto ‘For everyone, for ever’ at its heart.
