To own the Ground Investigation Management Evaluation process, and by developing a robust plan for ground investigations for each project. With this in mind, we are looking for a Solutions Construction Advisor to join the team will you be doing as our new Solutions Construction Advisor? As our new Solutions Construction Advisor, you’ll work closely alongside the Portfolio Solutions Manager, Technical Manager & Project Delivery Manager. You’ll utilise your construction knowledge to develop pipeline routes that takes account of the requirements of the engineering & construction teams, Anglian Water’s customers & environmental considerations. Whilst using appropriate construction techniques to balance the outcomes of the project, safety, and the identified constraints. Key responsibilities: Attend ESRI desktop planning sessions with the project team – Pre DM0 & in Stage 1 (DM0-DM1) to develop multiple route options to address the project outcomes. Walk route options with the project team, utilising ESRI to record issues/access & laydown areas, hazards and overhead power cables. Review constructability of each option on site Ensure handover to Site/Construction Manager in Stage 2 of each project Plan the technical aspects of the programme and projects and agree every Plan for Stage Maintain excellent communications with the PSM, TM and PDM. Recognise and report key issues before they become problems. Drive excellence in Health and Safety in design & construction. Eliminate hazards and reduce risks during option development. Provide information about remaining risk to project team (Technical Manager) via ESRI A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours…. To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you’ll have extensive construction experience in the water industry, including construction techniques, working areas, site set up and safety management. Alongside your experience in planning pipeline routes, developing optimum solutions that take account of environmental, customer, construction, and design requirements. You’ll have to ability to lead with safety and constructable techniques that minimise risk, enhance safety whilst considering external factors, reduce carbon and provide innovative thinking. You’ll demonstrate commitment to consistent collaboration and provide direction and clarity through decisive actions.
