About The Role
Our Group Vehicle Operations team are recruiting a Logistics Finance Analyst on a part-time (23.5 hours), fixed-term contract basis for 12 months.
What you could be doing:
1. Reporting into the Logistics Planning & Analysis Manager, you have ownership of accurate forecasting and financial planning of costs for short, medium, and long-term.
2. You will pay our bills of £150m annually and create and implement processes for checking the accuracy of all supplier invoices ensuring no over or under payments.
3. Your work will support reporting and transparency of supplier costings.
4. Support the Logistics Planning and Analysis Manager in creation, modification, and maintenance of Logistics reports for publication to senior management.
5. Ownership of daily logistics reports and all Financial logs including invoice errors, total spend by supplier, and annual maintenance spend.
6. You will be responsible for the timely submission of logistics accruals, as well as ownership of the logistics payment process.
Skills and experience you can bring to the role:
1. Highly numerate with a meticulous attention to detail.
2. Resilient with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
3. Proactive in resolving problems as well as identifying and implementing processes for improvement.
4. Strong customer and commercial focus.
5. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Group Vehicle Operations Logistics
We are a small team responsible for moving ~500,000 vehicles from the ports of Emden, Barcelona, and Setubal across the water, into UK ports, and then onwards to the retailer network. We manage via third-party suppliers all the associated services of sea freight, land, vehicle handling, insurance, transit damage, and outbound trucking. We work closely with all brands and many other internal and external stakeholders.
