We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team in Wilmslow. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who excels in generating leads, building strong relationships, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our recruiter customer base and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify and prospect potential recruiter customers aligned with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) within the recruitment industry.
2. Engage with potential customers through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and online platforms to generate leads.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their needs and challenges.
4. Clearly communicate the value proposition of our recruiter marketplace and its benefits.
5. Qualify leads by conducting needs assessments and evaluating their suitability.
6. Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase platform features and advantages.
7. Develop tailored proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve sales targets.
8. Work closely with the customer success team to ensure a seamless transition from sales to onboarding.
9. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
10. Provide regular sales reports, updates, and revenue forecasts to the Commercial Director.
Requirements
1. Proven track record of success in a business development or sales role, ideally within the recruitment or HR industry.
2. Strong understanding of the recruitment industry, including its challenges, trends, and best practices (preferred but not essential).
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence key decision-makers effectively.
4. Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.
5. Ability to manage a full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
6. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to drive contract closures.
7. Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools to track and manage sales activities.
8. Goal-oriented mindset with a strong drive to exceed sales targets.
9. Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
