We are currently seeking an experienced Hire Desk Manager who will be responsible for the effective and efficient running of the hire desk to ensure delivery of the depot’s performance expectations; whilst fostering and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with all stakeholders.
* Ensure that the customer relationship management (CRM) system is fully utilised, managed in accordance with expectations and is updated regularly, e.g. lead generation, pipeline management, quotes and meeting notes.
* Manage, coach and motivate the hire desk team to deliver in line with performance and company expectations and provide guidance and support to team members on complex hire issues and provide hands-on support as needed.
* Oversee all hire desk administration, ensuring that processes and procedures are adhered to, such as setting up new hire contracts, quote creation, negotiation of costs, customer requests.
* Support the team to effectively resolve customer queries, questions and complaints in line with agreed service level agreements.
* Ensure that all incoming calls and emails are answered and dealt with in line with service level expectations.
* Liaise with the accounts team to deal effectively and swiftly with existing and new customer account queries, issues, questions and challenges.
* Work closely with other regional depots to maximise the utilisation of equipment for the benefit of the wider business and promote opportunities for cross-selling and marketing between depots.
* Assist with the sourcing of equipment not available in depot to satisfy hire requirements.
* Provide management information/reports as requested and defined by the company policies and attend and present at depot meetings to give updates as required.
* Provide guidance, advice and support to customers in relation to products and services.
* Any other duties related to the work of the depot as directed by the Depot Manager
