Major Responsibilities for the role:
10. Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons in accordance with the national curriculum and school policies.
11. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
12. Organise and lead extracurricular sports clubs, teams, and events.
13. Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider school curriculum and initiatives.
14. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and external stakeholders.
15. Promote a culture of respect, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students..
To get cleared as a PE Teacher you will need the following Requirements:
16. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed).
17. Specialism in Physical Education or related discipline.
18. Strong subject knowledge and passion for promoting physical activity and well-being.
19. Experience teaching PE at the secondary level, preferably within a UK school setting.
20. Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
21. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
22. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
23. Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school community.
24. Eligibility to work in the UK
25. An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to get a new one
