Looking to recruit an EV Charging Maintenance Electrician to join our expanding Electric Vehicle charging business unit. The role will see you maintaining electric vehicle charging infrastructure across sites in the UK. The ideal candidate will have previous EV charging maintenance experience and be happy to travel to different sites every day. You might be asked to stay away from home, but will be returning home most nights.

The Role
You will be field-based, visiting client sites maintaining EV charging equipment (mostly DC chargers), delivering an exceptional customer experience by ensuring that the work is completed safely and tidily, and ensuring that the customer has an excellent understanding of the work done.
* Carry out the commissioning, routine maintenance, and upgrades of our networked commercial charging units.
* Carry out corrective maintenance of our client’s units when repairs or replacements are needed.
* Carry out Site Surveys to accurately price prospective projects and liaise with clients on site.
* Training on different brands of EV chargers will be provided by Actemium.
Weekend work is only optional and overtime is available weekdays.
Desirable Experience
* ECS Gold Card (Installation Electrician) or equivalent certificates required.
* Experience of EV charging installation or maintenance would be highly advantageous.
* Experience working on DBs & Panel boards.
* Happy to travel (time will be compensated).
* Flexible to stay away from home a couple of nights per month.
* 18th edition wiring regs.
* NVQ 3.
* A self-disciplined approach, organized, structured and consistent in approach.
* A calm professional manner.
* A “Can-Do” “Roll the sleeves up” attitude with a friendly & engaging personality.
* Good communication skills (written & oral) are required for colleagues, customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors (i.e. all levels).
