Band 7 Advanced Practice Therapeutic Radiographer
Radiotherapy Review Lead
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our radiographer-led radiotherapy review service. This post has responsibilities for clinical service delivery, staff training, growing audit and research, as well as providing Review education both locally and within Scotland. Where indicated, there may be involvement within the wider MDT and in peripheral clinics. Supported independent prescriber development opportunities are also available with this post.
You need to be clinically experienced and an innovative thinker, interested in continuing to develop staff in this important aspect of radiotherapy service delivery and be very patient-focused.
Our Department has:
* HDR brachytherapy with a purpose-built theatre facility
* New! Surface-guided radiotherapy, implementation, Spring 2025
* New! Varian Truebeam with 6DoF couch & Hypersight, Spring 2025
Radiographer-led:
* Adaptors
* Breast simulation sessions
* Image review
* On-treatment Review Clinic
We can offer:
* Clinical service development, with significant Adaptive and SABR (lung & Oligomets) experience.
