People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Executive Assistant/Operations Manager to join our well-established FMCG client based in BIRMINGHAM B42, WEST MIDLANDS on a full-time permanent basis.

Day-to-Day Duties
Work alongside the Director to implement efficient business processes across all departments
Develop and maintain systems to improve workflow, task management, and accountability
Oversee administrative functions, ensuring proper documentation, reporting, and compliance
Coordinate communication between departments to enhance collaboration and efficiency
Hold meetings with teams and stakeholders in the Director's absence, documenting decisions and ensuring follow-up actions
Track key business metrics and ensure critical tasks are completed
Support budgeting, expense tracking, and financial process improvements
Manage the Director's schedule, meetings, and correspondence, prioritizing key business objectives
Identify and address operational bottlenecks to improve overall business performance
Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to support company goals
Essential Skills
Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Operations Manager, or in a similar role
Strong understanding of business processes, system implementation, and operational efficiency
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead meetings and drive accountability
High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
Desirable Skills
Experience in project management, including the use of project management software
Familiarity with CRM tools and financial reporting systems
Background in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
Experience working in a fast-growing or rapidly changing business environment
Ability to adapt quickly and proactively find solutions to operational challenges
Training
Ongoing professional development and training in business operations, project management, and leadership
