The Role of the Regional Sales Manager:
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be managing a team of 5 Area Sales Managers.
You will be expected to manage the team day to day and drive sales across the area, conduct 1-2-1’s, regular meetings, performance reviews, and mentoring.
You will spend 50% of your time with the sales team, doing customer visits, and 50% doing admin, quotes, and general managerial responsibilities.
You will handle the day-to-day operations in the area, dealing with OEMs, End Users, Distributors, and Machine Builders.
You will look after a budget of circa £18 million and aim for 3% growth.
The team sells across their range of Geared Motors into Food & Beverage, Materials Handling, Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Construction & Building industries.
The Ideal Person for the Regional Sales Manager:
MUST have management experience.
MUST understand the fundamentals of Power, Speed, Torque, and Inertia.
Ideally coming from a background within Mechanical Power Transmission such as Gearboxes, Geared Motors, Conveyors, Electronic Geared Motors, Servos, Inverters, etc.
You will need to perform calculations on the basic maths around rotary to linear motion.
