VANRATH are very proud to offer this exceptional role. A leading global professional services firm is seeking a skilled and ambitious Private Client Tax Manager to join its growing team in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to advance their career in tax, while gaining exposure to a wide range of high-net-worth clients. You will be responsible for managing complex tax matters and leading a team, providing advisory and planning services for private clients, including individuals, families, trusts, and estates. What you will do: Manage and deliver a variety of tax advisory services for private clients, including high-net-worth individuals, family businesses, and trusts. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring the highest standard of technical expertise and service. Lead and support a team, overseeing the delivery of client work while providing mentorship and development opportunities for junior staff. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and offer practical, tailored tax solutions to clients, including UK tax, international tax, and estate planning. Collaborate with senior leadership to identify new business opportunities and support the continued growth of the Private Client Services team. Review and ensure the technical accuracy of tax returns and reports, providing insightful commentary and advice to clients. Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, enhancing your own technical expertise and that of the team. What you will have: CTA qualified (or equivalent) or a candidate with relevant tax experience. If not CTA qualified, the firm will also consider candidates with qualifications such as ATT, ACA, CA, or ACCA, with significant tax experience. Experience in a managerial role within a Private Client Services environment, with a proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality work. Strong technical knowledge of tax matters, particularly in private client taxation, estate planning, and international tax. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax issues clearly to clients. Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, with a focus on developing and guiding junior staff. A proactive approach to business development and a passion for driving growth.
