Job Title: Commercial Manager for Merchant Location: Head Office, New Milton, Caird Avenue, BH25 5PX Hours: 37.5 hours per week Work Pattern: Monday - Friday Salary: £45-50k per annum DOE and benefits detailed below We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Merchant Commercial Manager to join our dynamic on the road sales team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving our Merchant commercial operations, driving business growth, and ensuring the effective management of resources. This position requires strong leadership skills and a keen understanding of cost control to optimise profitability while maintaining high standards of service. Duties will include: - Develop and implement merchant commercial strategies to achieve business objectives and maximise revenue. - Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. - Manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring effective cost control measures are in place. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. - Negotiate contracts with suppliers and clients, ensuring favourable terms for the business. - Prepare and present reports on commercial performance to senior management. - Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams. - To ensure that the Company’s activities comply with legislation and regulation concerning Health, Safety and Welfare, Quarry Regulations, Environmental and Quality control the role will be required to learn, understand and adhere to all policies and procedures.
