Electrical Installation Lecturer (permanent)

Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working exclusively with a number of prestigious FE colleges in Yorkshire to help employ experienced electrical professionals for their full-time Electrical Installation lecturer roles. Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver high-quality teaching sessions, covering a range of electrical installation topics, to students of varying abilities.
2. Develop and update curriculum materials, ensuring they meet industry standards and promote a comprehensive learning experience.
3. Assess and provide constructive feedback on student progress, using a variety of assessment methods to gauge their understanding and skill development.
4. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment, fostering positive student engagement and promoting their personal and professional growth.
5. Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and prepares students for the evolving field of electrical installations.
6. Collaborate with colleagues and industry professionals to enhance the learning experience through guest lectures, industry placements, and relevant projects.
Qualifications and Experience:
7. A recognised electrical installation qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, 18th edition) or equivalent.
8. Extensive experience in the electrical industry, with a strong understanding of current practices, regulations, and technologies.
9. Teaching or training experience in an educational or vocational setting is highly desirable.
10. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and inspire learners from diverse backgrounds.
11. A proactive and adaptable approach, coupled with strong organisational skills, to effectively manage teaching responsibilities and administrative tasks.
12. A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE / Cert Ed). Or willing to work towards
