We are looking to recruit an experienced individual to join our established team. Reporting to our Finance Manager, our Finance Business Partner will be responsible for financial budget setting, monitoring and forecasting, and managing financial performance effectively, providing accurate and timely management accounts.
In addition, we are looking for candidates who have a passion to advocate on behalf of people and communities.
What do our Finance Business Partners do:
1. Manage the day-to-day financial performance management and reporting for the capital investment programme, ensuring there is a robust monthly process in place to enable effective cash flow forecasting, scheme performance, and programme reporting is timely and well understood by senior management and able to be challenged effectively.
2. Deliver excellent, value-added finance business partnering services to internal customers, ensuring tailored reports for each area of the business so that they have a good understanding of financial performance, how to address underperformance, and enabling good quality forecasting to be completed monthly.
3. Oversee the management and maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register for the Group, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions, ensuring that capitalisation and depreciation are processed in a timely manner.
4. Support the collation and reporting of the financial planning information for the capital investment spend for the Group beyond the Year 1 budget, ensuring the business partners and budget holders are challenged effectively through the process, ensuring the quality, integrity, and transparency of the financial information being included in the financial plan.
5. Ensure data quality is a key focus across the team to ensure information being provided to finance and from finance is based on 'one source of the truth' and ensure robust validation of data is being carried out on information being used to perform key calculations being reported for assurance purposes.
6. Provide effective leadership and motivate team members to achieve high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.

1. Evidence of and commitment to continual professional, leadership, and personal development.
2. Part-qualified or Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA/By Experience) - Desirable.
3. Experience of working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
4. Experience of effective business partnering.
5. Experience of providing appropriate financial information.
6. Ability to lead, motivate and inspire in line with MSV's values and culture.
7. Ability to analyse complex data to produce reports and deliver information to a range of audiences.
8. Interpersonal and presentation skills to enable effective communication in a variety of settings and audiences.
