Majella McCarthy, our new Director of Children’s Services, joined us in April and is passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people, and their families.
We recently underwent a review and, due to internal promotions and investment in a new senior management structure, we are in an exciting position. We seek innovative and ambitious individuals who prioritize children and young people.
Our Children and Families service continues to strengthen, with specialist areas working alongside traditional safeguarding teams.
We have two exciting opportunities for candidates for the positions of Service Leads Children and Families. The roles are divided as follows:
Service Lead One:
Children and Families teams x 3
Children with Disabilities
Edge of Care
Service Lead Two:
Children with Families teams x 3
Adolescent team
MACE
The successful candidates will oversee care planning for children in need of Child in Need, Child protection, PLO, and court care planning support. We seek candidates committed to excellent practice and outcomes with a strengths-based approach.
As Service Lead, you should be creative and dynamic in transforming services and ideally have an interest or experience in one of the specialist areas.
