Job Description The enforcement of animal health, welfare & animal feed legislation by undertaking investigations and conducting inspections at agricultural premises and to provide advice on legislative requirements and good practice. Act as part of an enforcement team in performing the duties of the Trading Standards Service. The Individual This is a permanent full time post based at Council Headquarters, London Road Kilmarnock. The hours of work are 35 hours per week to be worked Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.00pm and Friday 9.00am - 4.00pm The full time salary of the post is between £33,124 - £35,927 per annum. Th workstyle for this post is Mobile’ - 20-49% of your time in an office or other work location. You will work at your administrative base or another agreed office location between 1 to 2.5 days per week and the remainder of the week at home or other work locations as required. It is the expectation that all office-based employees (with the exception of those working in schools) will work to the higher end of their allocated workstyle in terms of time spent in the office or at other work locations.
