Resourcery Group are working with an international manufacturing company who are looking to bring on board an interim Financial Accountant for a period of 6 months. This is a hands-on financial accounting role to support whilst they are restructuring the team following recent acquisitions.
Job Duties:
1. Provide daily banking and treasury function cover when required
2. Creation, analysis and support of management information to the business within agreed timetables
3. Review and prepare journals
4. Assist in the year-end external audit process
5. Reconciliation of balance sheet general ledgers
6. Assist in the preparation of tax and compliance returns
7. Assist where necessary in the Finance department regionalisation project to ensure a smooth transition into the new team structure
8. Take on continuous improvement projects where required
9. Ad hoc finance tasks
Required Qualifications:
* ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
* Proven experience in financial accounting roles.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial accounting.
* Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
* Previous experience in managing month-end and year-end processes.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle and MS Excel.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
