Employer description: The Structural Partnership Ltd are a Civil & Structural Engineering company based in Glasgow City Centre. Overview: We are on the lookout for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice in our busy team. You will work in the engineering and design office and provide office support to the wider team. You will also be involved in a wide range of projects, at all levels within the businesses. Key Responsibilities: Learn how to use our document management system (Solutions) to update files, reports, drawings and archives. Become proficient in all the Microsoft Office Suite. Using this suite, you will contribute to reporting for managing filing systems, coordinating diaries and generating client specific reports. Access designs on AutoCAD and pass them over to engineers within the company. You will become a key digital support staff member, for all staff & clients, working with others across our network. This will include processing standard requests, problem solving to investigate issues, as well as reviewing process functionality. Working with the Engineering team to help organise project plans. You will act as the first point of contact, greeting all visitors, completing general administrative tasks and play a key part in digital changes within the business. Required skills: Good written & verbal communication skills Organised Motivated & willingness to learn Good attention to detail Team player Good time keeping (essential) Entry qualifications: National 5 English and Maths would be beneficial An interest in design, CAD or technical drawing would be advantageous, but is not necessary. Working week Monday - Thursday, 9am - 5pm, Friday is from 9am - 3:30pm. 36hrs a week. Salary: £13,104 per annum.
