This varied role is within the Guards and Drivers teams based at the depot adjacent to Exeter St David's station. You will provide essential day-to-day assistance to both the management team and front-line colleagues. What are the responsibilities of the role? to be a constant presence in the depot, responding to queries and requests, and taking and passing messages the ordering and distribution of kit, uniform and stock ensuring that diagrams, links, alterations notices and operational notices are correctly posted electronic filing and maintenance of crew records to report faults and defects when necessary to support local record keeping and processes to take minutes/notes at meetings, hearings and investigations reporting of information to other departments ensuring that GDPR is maintained at all times What sort of person are you looking for? We are looking for someone who is: highly organised with the ability to prioritise their workload detail conscious adaptable and flexible in their approach able to establish relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels IT literate. What do I need? previous administrative experience the ability to maintain confidentiality a good level of competence in Microsoft applications a positive and "can do" attitude to problem solving experience of taking notes/minutes the ability to cope with interruptions and remain calm, friendly and helpful even when under pressure. Where is the job? The role will be based within offices at the depot adjacent to Exeter St David's station. What else do I need to know? This role is 35 hours per week.
