3rd Line IT Support Engineer
My client based in Newcastle is looking for a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer but would consider an experienced 2nd liner ready to step into a 3rd line role. The client will offer training, pay for courses/certifications, and progression!
This role offers hybrid working depending on project work and is very flexible on working hours.
You will be responsible for performing in-depth solution research to assist with incident management or planned replacement or the introduction of a new product/solution. Supporting the production of technical specifications and/or solutions. Also supporting and advising colleagues from Service Desk roles when investigating incidents.
Required Skills/Experience:
1. Active Directory
2. Windows Server
3. Azure 365
4. Some experience of SQL to some level is essential
5. Hyper-V exposure or VMWare
6. Enterprise storage technologies including SAN
7. Excellent communication skills
8. Experience/understanding of ITIL
Any ITIL, Always On, Microsoft Certifications are a bonus!
Please note this role does require you to have a full driving licence/car for occasional site visits/being on-call.
