The eCare Test Quality Analyst will support the testing/QA of new or upgrades to Business, Infrastructure and Clinical solutions implemented across the Cornwall Healthcare Community. They will use appropriate IM&T systems to manage and record test processes. They will support the production of test scripts and plans, undertake testing, and support other test teams or processes. They will ensure any faults identified via the test process are tracked and managed via Jira (or other system) through to resolution. They will provide advice and support to entry level testers, teams and individuals on test processes and will assist in developing test plans. This post is a full time fixed term contract. Main duties of the job The eCare Test Quality Analyst will support the provision of a service which ensures software solutions are fit for purpose at the point of delivery. They will undertake testing activities across two Programmes, including documentation and escalation of test results, incidents and issues which arise during pre-implementation and 'go-live' periods across the two Programmes (EPR & Clinical Programme). The ECare Test Quality Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Test Manager with the entirety of testing activities across the two Programmes (EPR & Clinical Programme); sharing knowledge and maintaining engagement with colleagues towards achievement within the key results areas. They will support the production of Test Scripts and Plans and undertake the testing process as well as supporting other testing teams or processes. The eCare Test Quality Analyst will provide guidance to the Entry Level Testers across the two Programmes (eCare & Clinical Programme). Analyse and explain business and technical requirements, in collaboration with system suppliers and system users, to ensure systems testing outputs meet agreed acceptance criteria. Analyse the clinical or business context that the system or solution will be expected to support in order to produce a suitable test process. Maintain up to date knowledge of new systems and upgrades by attending the appropriate familiarisation/training sessions.
