Description
Manage and monitor all functions associated with the operation of plant turbine, boilers and coordination of incoming and outgoing waste.
Ensuring health and safety guidelines are strictly followed
Training, managing, and developing team members
To control and maintain the direct control systems to check temperature flow, pressure readings from the turbine/boiler, readings from control systems, gauges and alarms.
Conducting performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback
Monitoring equipment maintenance and organising repairs if necessary
Collaborating with other departments to optimise production processes
Ensuring production targets are met on time and within budgetProfile
A successful Deputy Team Leader should have:
Experience and/or understanding of operating high pressure boilers and steam turbine plants.
Proven experience in a similar leadership role within the industrial / manufacturing sector
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and team management abilities
Familiarity with health and safety regulations
Proficiency in using production management softwareJob Offer
An attractive salary package of £47,000 per year
4 on 4 off, consisting of 2 day shifts (6am-6pm) and 2 night shifts (6pm-6am).This is the case for 7 cycles, and then the employee has 2 weeks of green days (Mon-Fri 9-5)
