Job Description
As the In-Store Visual Merchandising Supervisor, you will have overall accountability for the visual merchandising look and feel in your store.
Leading the in-store Visual Team, you will manage visual support to the store and all levels of the sales team.
Following the visual instruction set from the Head Office team, you will engage our customers through creative, commercial and elevated visual merchandising and floor layouts, maximising store profitability whilst maintaining consistency and compliance to the Frasers Group and Brand standards.
The responsibility.
1. Lead weekly walkthroughs of the store in its entirety with Floor Managers and In-store VM team to plan workload and give clear direction to focus team activity for coming week(s), in line with marketing & comms calendars and Head Office VM instruction
2. Work alongside the floor managers and their teams to ensure brands are merchandised commercially and to their correct identities, the Frasers Group way, using the Visual Principles, Brand Segmentations and Seasonal Brand Packs supplied by the Head Office VM teams
3. Effectively coordinate the retail team across operational tasks, guiding them with your operational expertise
4. Provide timely feedback to associates, recognising success and positively challenging poor performance
5. Use expertise to coach and develop the VM and shop floor teams to improve their confidence and merchandising skills by owning the Visual implementation within store
6. Create the desire to buy, by consistently delivering exceptional visual standards through the simple, commercial and elevated merchandising of brands, windows and shop floor displays aligning with Head Office instruction
7. Be reactive to best-selling and key product in store and feedback to HO VM Team
8. Hands-on in the set-up and documentation of seasonal Model Store across all departments
9. Work closely with Sales Managers to deliver promotions and events which meet deadlines, adhere to Company guidelines and maximize sales
10. Maintain POS and visual equipment to ensure the store can always deliver a strong visual message
Training & Development
11. Train and develop members of sales teams on how to use the Visual Material available to them on SharePoint
12. Communicate and provide feedback to Head Office VM Team on Visual Merchandising activity in store
13. Support, coach and motivate your team through to deliver amazing levels of service through hands-on training and development
Qualifications
The person.
14. Must have experience leading a team in a fashion retail environemnt
15. Passion for product, brands and trend
16. Background and consistent career path in retail
17. Experience in Luxury Visual Merchandising or similar role
18. Strong communication and organisational skills
