All Health Visitors and Community Nursery Nurses have corporate membership with the Institute of Health Visiting (iHV) which offers a wealth of professional training programmes and resources to support excellent practice. The iHV has been commissioned to deliver the Leading Excellence in Practice programme to all Health Visitors and School Nurses over the next 18 months. Main duties of the job Work as part of an integrated team and lead on the delivery of the healthy child programme Identify health needs through an ecological assessment and in partnership with families, agree personalised plans to address the needs. Delegate aspects of care to the Community Nursery Nurses and Staff Nurses within the skill mix team. Engage and participate in service improvement. Continuously learn to develop your own skills and those of others.
