Fulmar Services is looking for a dedicated Field Welfare Officer to join our growing team. You’ll be visiting residential and commercial customers on behalf of some of the UK’s leading energy providers, offering support, guidance, and practical solutions to help them manage their utility bills. Your aim? To re-engage customers, gather important information, identify vulnerabilities, and create sustainable, affordable outcomes tailored to individual circumstances. ________________________________________ What You’ll Be Doing: Visiting customers who have fallen out of contact with our clients Building rapport and having honest, supportive conversations - These can sometimes be difficult conversations as you will be discussing an individuals debt with their utility bill. Identifying vulnerabilities and signposting to appropriate support Confirming meter readings, occupancy, and relevant account details Delivering an excellent standard of customer care in the field Working independently with support from your regional team Working alongside a Smart Meter Engineer & Locksmith to execute warrants. ________________________________________ What We’re Looking For: Strong communication skills – you're confident speaking with people from all walks of life Previous experience in customer service, ideally face-to-face Empathy and patience – especially when working with vulnerable customers Self-motivation and ability to work alone in a field-based environment Flexibility for occasional travel outside your local area Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points) ________________________________________ Desirable but Not Essential: Background in utilities (gas/electric), field visits, or customer resolution roles Experience identifying vulnerabilities or supporting customers through financial difficulty ________________________________________ What’s In It For You?
