Looking to step into a dynamic role as the Reefer Development Manager for our Ocean team UK & IE? Do you enjoy managing teams, developing business and take pride in your knowledge of the Ocean Freight industry? If so, this is a great opportunity to join us and drive growth across the Reefer product for the UK & IE Cluster.
Location: Flexible for the right candidate, although a Midlands base would be advantageous. Hybrid working is supported. Frequent travel is required for the role.
What will you be doing?
1. Responsible for the Cluster Ocean Reefer Department P&L.
2. Deliver new business and grow existing Reefer business.
3. Managing and monitoring our GDP accreditation across UK & Ireland.
4. Work closely with and develop our Operational team.
5. Maintain a healthy pipeline of target accounts.
6. Work closely with Tender and Product management teams to submit competitive, tailored proposals.
7. Work closely with European and Global Reefer management.
8. Maintain & develop Healthcare strategy and be responsible for Ocean GDP compliance.
About You
1. Significant Ocean Freight industry knowledge with excellent relationships with key exporters and importers.
2. Proven sales track record of gaining new major business and successfully working to and exceeding sales targets.
3. Knowledge and understanding of GDP.
4. Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to identify quality opportunities and to close successfully.
5. Ability to prioritise, organise and manage time efficiently is essential.
6. Commercial aptitude with the ability to negotiate at a high level.
7. Superb communicator and networker.
