The business is investing in new premises and moving from its current base in Dunstable to the outskirts of Bedford and easily commutable from Milton Keynes, St Neots, Biggleswade, Sandy, Luton and surrounding areas. The Role The Credit Controller you will support a newly recruited Financial Controller and be tasked with monitoring, maintaining and taking responsibility for the sales ledgers in UK and Germany in terms of debt collection control and ledger housekeeping. This is a replacement role with an excellent opportunity to add value to the business in order to assist with continued and sustained development. Day to day duties will consist of: Accounts Receivable: Keeping overdue debts to a minimum by employing efficient debt control methods and ensuring accounts are well maintained. Allocation and posting of payments received. Customer monitoring and query follow ups Your Profile You will be a strong Credit Controller with extensive experience of maintaining relationships both internally and externally through communication and sense checking. Should you be willing to develop further and study in the future this will be supported to provide longer term growth and development for the successful individual. You must be self-motivated, able to act on own initiative and be able to communicate at all levels. Salary and Benefits The role of Credit Controller for Premier Cables in Bedford is offering a salary of £30-35K DOE Study and benefits and will be working in the office 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs) with one from home on Friday as work allows.
