Position: People Analytics Specialist
Location: Grimsby
Salary: £17.00 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (37 hours per week).
Start Date: Monday, 10 February 2025
End Date: Friday, 1 August 2025
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated People Analytics Specialist to join a forward-thinking public sector. This temporary role offers the chance to make a significant impact by providing data-driven insights to influence strategic and operational decisions. There is potential for the position to become permanent based on performance and organisational needs.
Key Duties:
1. Utilise business intelligence tools to explore and organise people's data efficiently.
2. Build and maintain complex databases of people data to support in-depth analyses.
3. Conduct comprehensive data analyses to identify patterns, trends, and insights in people's data.
4. Create engaging data visualisations and apply storytelling techniques to inform strategic decision-making on people-related issues.
5. Design research studies using both quantitative and qualitative methods to address organisational challenges.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop meaningful questions and hypotheses, providing actionable insights into people and issues.
7. Develop sophisticated data models to forecast and analyse people-related trends and outcomes.
8. Act as a bridge between the systems team and business support, delivering clear and relatable reports to a variety of stakeholders.
Requirements:
1. Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, database management, and business intelligence tools. Expertise in storytelling using data visualisations, such as dashboards, to convey insights.
2. Experience: Demonstrated ability to conduct complex data analyses, design research, and build data models. Experience with qualitative and quantitative methods.
3. Knowledge: Strong understanding of human behaviour and its implications for organisational decision-making.
4. Attributes: Problem-solving mindset, structured and methodical approach, and excellent communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
Qualifications:
1. CIPD qualified (or equivalent) - advantageous.
2. Minimum graduate-level education.
