The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a Nuclear Power Plant Project, to be based out of Warrington on a Hybrid working basis.
Job Overview:
Responsible for delivery of mechanical engineering documentation for area and systems.
Responsible for production and/or modification of engineering design deliverables that meet the specifications required and conform to project and client standards.
Some of your duties will include:
1. Produce collated packages of engineering deliverables that are required to carry out construction/installation works, including CAD work for drawings to be updated.
2. Provide engineering support to the manufacturer of procurement packages and site construction/commissioning functions.
3. Experience of legislation compliance such as Machineries regulations, CE marking, H&S files, EHSR, Design Change closure and O&M manuals.
What do you need to succeed?
1. Degree qualified or demonstrable equivalent underpinning knowledge & understanding.
2. Working knowledge of design methods and techniques in the Mechanical discipline.
3. Familiar with relevant engineering design codes and standards.
4. Proficient in the use of AutoCAD for drawings and MS Office applications for documents.
5. Supply chain (Vendor) support.
6. Nuclear experience preferred working on similar projects, or other highly regulated industry.
