This specific role will be responsible for coordinating asset data in the client HS2's AIMS database system. Working closely with the Asset Information Manager and both the design team and Subcontractors to maintain consistency and compliance to the client's Asset Information Requirements.
Your role will be a key part of the MDJV BIM/Information Management Team where you will be supported and supporting the BIM project team throughout the delivery of Birmingham Curzon Street Station.
You'll be responsible for:
* Registering assets and acquiring UAIDs from HS2 AIMS system.
* Reviewing assets generated from Supply Chain and ensuring the assets are in compliance with HS2's AIMS database of asset types
o Compliance checks of the asset types in the Design Responsibility Matrix (DRM) and Modelling Requirements Table (MRT) with HS2's AIMS.
* Tracking and managing changes in Asset data (removal, addition, modifying) from the Supply Chain in AIMS.
* Ensuring the asset's attributes are being populated and met for each type of asset listed in AIMS, for each of the stage of works.
* Ensuring the relationships between assets are up to date in HS2's AIMS database.
* Coordinating with various construction disciplines such as M&E/Rail Systems to generate assets in AIMS.
* Maintaining/updating the Asset Decision Log.
* Assuring BIM models have the right asset data.
* Assuring MDJV owned BIM models and Models created on behalf of Supply chain have relevant Asset Data including attributes.
* Assuring documents are tagged to relevant UAIDs.
* Assuring CDM risks are tagged to relevant UAIDs.
You'll need to have:
* Experience of CAD/BIM within an engineering or multi-disciplinary project.
* Experience of managing technical information in a complex environment.
* Strong skills in Excel and handling data.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for a highly collaborative working environment.
* Continuously innovate to drive value and efficiency.
* Promote transparency and integration.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Accuracy and attention to detail are critical.
* Ability to perform in a high volume, priority changing environment.
* Ability to use own initiative.
* Recent experience of relevant construction projects.
You'll also have:
* Experience of technical information production within the construction and rail sectors.
* Academic qualifications of HNC/HND (or higher) ideally in a construction-based subject.
