A well-established, independent veterinary practice in Pulborough is seeking an experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon to take a key role in its team. The Role:
The Lead Veterinary Surgeon will be based at a welcoming and well-equipped village branch clinic in Pulborough, where continuity of care and a strong community connection are at the heart of the service. The clinic provides a warm, home-like atmosphere designed to put both pets and their owners at ease.
Working Pattern:
* 4-day workweek, 10-hour shifts (varied times between 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM, totaling 40 hours).
* 1-hour lunch break.
* Equal share in emergency care rota (1 in 6 weekends and bank holidays), with 2 days off in lieu for weekends worked.
* Open to part-time applicants and flexible working arrangements.
The Candidate:
This position is ideal for a Veterinary Surgeon looking to take on a leadership role, guiding a stable and consistent branch team. Responsibilities will include clinical work, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to the growth and success of the practice. Experience in leadership, sole charge, or working towards key performance goals would be beneficial.
Skills/Experience:
* Experienced Veterinary Surgeon (MRCVS) with a strong background in medicine and diagnostics.
* Previous leadership and/or sole charge experience preferred.
* Enthusiastic and passionate about professional development and maintaining high clinical standards.

Salary: They are offering a competitive salary of up to £65,000+ per annum, depending on experience, certificates, and Advanced Practitioner status.
