Our client is seeking a forward-thinking, motivated Assistant Parts Manager to oversee a multi-branded main department daily, reporting to the Parts Manager.
This role involves working in excellent premises representing several main manufacturer brands. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership qualities, possess strong knowledge of Parts KPIs and processes, and be an excellent communicator and people person. Responsibilities include managing a team of Parts Advisors and drivers, and handling all daily departmental functions.
The department primarily supplies the Workshop back-counter, with a significant trade-counter operation, including export oversight.
Assistant Parts Manager Role:
* Manage daily operations of the Parts Warehouse & Call Centre, supervising warehouse assistants, van drivers, parts advisors, and deliveries.
* Run weekly stock reports and ensure daily stock checks are completed and recorded.
* Manage staff holidays and departmental coverage.
* Ensure sales targets are met and liaise with manufacturers regarding trade programs.
* Support the Group Parts Manager with daily tasks to ensure smooth department operation.

* Hold a full, clean driving license.
* Willing to undertake continuous training for career development.
* Ability to motivate and lead by example.
This position is ideally suited for an existing Parts Manager or Supervisor with strong departmental oversight experience.
Salary: Basic £30,000-£35,000 with OTE £35,000-£40,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm, with alternate Saturdays on a rota.
