S is a delightful handsome young lad 34 years old but looks very young for his age. He is autistic and has epilepsy episodes of about once a year. Autism is manifested in watching YouTube videos S has speech impairment but communicates well. He needs help with feeding, dressing and washing. He can walk short distances. Job includes taking out S for Bowling, Walking, Physical Exercises, Movies, Gardens and Eating out. Preparation of breakfast, lunch and giving medications.
Duties include:
Medication prompting/administering
Personal grooming
Eating and drinking assistance
Moving and handling
Other relevant duties as required
Housekeeping
Cooking
Transportation
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
Candidate qualities:
Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
Reliable with good timekeeping
Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
We are looking for a person who is both loving and caring and who can motivate S to be capable of taking care of himself.
