The Role As a Site Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our school is a welcoming and safe place to learn and work. Your duties will include: Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and minor DIY tasks Supporting the Site Manager with site security, including opening and locking up the premises Ensuring health and safety regulations are met Carrying out routine inspections of the school buildings and grounds Assisting with cleaning, moving furniture, and setting up rooms for school events Reporting any maintenance issues promptly to the Site Manager What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will: Be reliable, proactive, and able to work independently Have a good level of practical maintenance and DIY skills Take pride in keeping the school environment safe and well-presented Be flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks Have a strong sense of responsibility and good attention to detail Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential. A willingness to undertake relevant training is required.
