Champion the principles of nothing about me without me in support planning and delivery. Provide leadership in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and use behavioural data to improve care. Support R in his active and adventurous lifestyle, including activities such as walking, paddleboarding, and zip wiring. Help create and maintain structure and routine, ensuring R feels secure and supported. Facilitate sensory diets, use visual aids to enhance communication, and engage R in his community. Collaborate with colleagues, external partners, and support networks to provide person-centred support. About You: A patient and calm-natured individual. Comfortable using compassionate techniques to engage individuals. Experienced in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours. Knowledgeable about PBS and sensory communication strategies. Confident in analysing behavioural data and adapting ways of working. A strong leader who can motivate a team and work collaboratively.
