Now is an exciting time to be part of our journey As a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with communication and swallowing disorders following acquired and traumatic brain injury. This position offers an opportunity to work within a skilled interdisciplinary team, providing high-quality, tailored therapy that truly enhances our residents lives. Join us and be part of something extraordinary What you'll be working: This role is 22.5 hours per week. Ideally, the successful candidate will need to be on site on Tuesdays, but the remaining hours can be discussed and agreed. What you'll be doing: Deliver specialist assessment and treatment for patients with complex neurological communication and swallowing disorders, including appropriate referral for instrumental assessment (VF, FEES if applicable). Develop and implement individualised treatment plans using evidence-based practice. Provide training and support to patients, families, and the wider interdisciplinary team. Play an active role in service development, clinical audits, and research. Supervise and mentor junior SLTs, assistants, and students as required.
