Support Worker Needed to Assist a Male in Ipswich with Angelman Syndrome, Epilepsy, and Physical Health Challenges
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist a male with Angelman Syndrome, epilepsy, and physical health difficulties. The role involves supporting him with daily activities within his family home. You'll need to be engaging, interactive, and invested in building a meaningful relationship with him.
About You:
The ideal candidate will be empathetic, compassionate, and resilient, with experience working with individuals who have learning disabilities, epilepsy, and non-verbal communication needs.
Pay Rates:
* £13.18 per hour PAYE
* £16.25 per hour Umbrella
Requirements for the Support Worker:
* Previous experience in support work, particularly with learning disabilities.
* Confidence in working independently and proactively.
* Strong self-motivation and clear communication skills.
* An Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service.
* Access to your own vehicle and the ability to travel to Ipswich.
Shift Details:
* 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM on Thursdays and Fridays.
* Part-time role with 24-hour shifts available.
* Temporary-to-permanent opportunity.
