Priority Candidates will be considered in the first instance Wigan & Leigh Life Centres Salary: Grade 5, 25,992 - 28,624 per annum. 13.47 - 14.83 per hour 2 positions x 37 hours per week Temporary until 31 st March 2026 Your role: As part of our customer facing welfare team, you will work in conjunction with our life centre teams. Your role will compliment our face-to-face offer by supporting residents across our borough predominantly by telephone and through our digital contact. You will, at times, need to provide cover from either one of our life centres. You will process our welfare applications and ensure our residents are supported quickly whilst also ensuring their income is maximised and appropriate support is offered or signposted to ensuring our digital ask is promoted to all About you: You need to be a people person who thrives on achieving the best outcomes for our customers. With a friendly and supportive ear and the ability to hear the unspoken word for those who are vulnerable is essential. You will be outcome driven and love to work at a fast pace. Communication is key in this role both listening, talking and interacting via our online platforms. You will ensure your quest to maximise income to support our residents financial wellbeing is your main priority.
