About the pub
The Farmhouse at Mackworth is a stunning, multi-faceted business oozing with charm & character, situated in what was once an 18th-century farmhouse. The Farmhouse boasts a large bar & restaurant, 10 boutique hotel bedrooms, multiple upstairs function spaces, and a self-contained wedding & events space with a capacity for 200 guests.
Currently trading at an average of £50,000 per week in net sales, The Farmhouse has recently benefited from upgrades to the pub and a full refurbishment of the hotel bedrooms.
The Farmhouse offers an incredibly rare opportunity for a seasoned General Manager with a sustained track record of success in a multi-faceted business to take the helm of our flagship Signature business and continue its success. This site has a strong senior management team in place, so we’re looking for a passionate leader who can inspire and nurture their teams.

What hours would I need to work?
As the General Manager, you’ll be required to work at peak trading times, which involves evenings & weekends, as well as peak trading days such as bank holidays & the festive period.
