Due to the retirement of our current business manager, we have a vacancy for a part-time finance administrator. Ideally, we are looking for someone with a finance background and experience working in a school. Although the advertised post is for one day a week only, there could be scope in the future for further responsibility and increased hours. The successful candidate will be required to attend Governor Resources Committee meetings four times per year. The ideal candidate will be friendly, adaptable, independent, resilient and pro-active. The candidate will be committed to ensuring St Michael’s continues to attract and welcome new families, to contributing to building the school’s finances and to supporting the site manager by managing the procurement process. St Michael’s has recently been judged as ‘Outstanding’ in a recent Ofsted inspection. If you are successful in your application, you will be joining a friendly, hard-working and supportive staff team, who are united in their aim to give all children the best possible primary school education. If you would like further information or would like a brief tour of the school, please telephone or email the school office and we would be delighted to show you around. Please also look at our school website to find out more about our happy and successful school. St Michael's Primary School is committed to safeguarding children and young people and, therefore, the successful applicant will be subject to online searches, suitable references, medical and DBS checks in accordance with Herts County guidelines.
