* PPA Teacher
* Part-Time
* ASAP Start
This Primary School vision is for every student to exhibit our core values of love learning, challenge, respect and community, ensuring that they leave us with the best chances and choices for their futures.
The Role
You will be joining this Primary School as a part-time PPA teacher. The role is to cover a class while the regular teacher has their statutory PPA time. PPA teachers ensure continuity of learning so that students still receive structured and meaningful lessons in the absence of their regular teacher.
Teach a range of subjects or classes, which keeps the workday interesting and helps you broaden your teaching experience.This role is suited to someone who loves the delivery side of teaching and flexible hours. Following a teacher's plan each day means you don’t have marking and lesson planning. Perfect for teachers starting their career with a ECT qualification. Ideal if you're balancing teaching with other responsibilities or transitioning into/out of full-time roles.
You will be expected to:
* Maintain consistency in classroom behaviour management
* Support children’s learning and keep them on task
* Differentiate activities if needed to support all learners
* Provide feedback or mark work as directed by the school policy
* Monitor student engagement and behaviour, and report back to the class teacher
* Build positive relationships with students, even with limited contact time
* Adapt flexibly to different classes or year groups if covering more than one
