We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to support the site teams and engineers with administration. Experience of document control within the construction industry preferred. You will be liaising with our site team, main contractor and other trades.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining all project documentation, ensuring that documents are accurately recorded, filed, and easily retrievable. This role is crucial in supporting our project teams and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Duties:
* Organise and maintain project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
* Ensure all documents are accurately filed in both electronic and physical formats.
* Implement and maintain document control procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely submission of documentation.
* Work alongside site team to complete, reconcile and issue audits.
* Conduct regular audits of documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations as required.
* Navigate and manage document / drawing issues on various web-based platforms such as Asite, Viewpoint, Dalux and Fieldview.
* Minuting of various site meetings.
* Provide training and support to team members on document control processes.
* Respond to internal and external requests for documentation in a timely manner.
Requirements
* Proven experience in document control or a similar administrative role.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
* Proficient in using document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Knowledge of industry standards related to document management is an advantage.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills.
* Familiarity with project management methodologies is desirable.
